Coaching vs Mentoring

A mentor (or consultant/advisor) provides advice in their area of expertise.

In contrast, a coach will support you to find your own solutions.


My approach combines coaching and mentoring to support you in finding solutions and progress.  People improve most effectively when they discover and own their solutions. This is harder work than being given an answer, but is more powerful and likely to achieve lasting benefits.

Where it is useful to do so, I also use my experience to provide insights which may assist with your thinking.
